Hi everyone, hope you all are enjoying your weekend! Yesterday, my boyfriend Matt and I had our "Christmas morning" together. I'm leaving this afternoon to visit my mom and stepdad in Phoenix, Arizona for the next two weeks. Therefore, Matt and I decided to celebrate together a few days early. He got me the most amaaazing camera to use for my blog (Thanks, Matty!) so the picture quality will be vastly improved from now on :)
Without further ado, look below for ideas for you gals and guys that are going home to visit your family and friends in the coming days. These outfits should get you through even the longest of family gatherings with ease.
Merona blue v-neck sweater: Target $26.99 (on sale from $29.99)
I bought it for Matt on sale for $15 on Black Friday.
Arrow maroon checkered collared shirt: Old, from Kohl's in 2011 for approximately $20
-Similar styles: JCPenney $10 (on sale from $15), JCPenney $15, Old Navy $22.50 (on sale from $29.94), Old Navy $24.94 or Kohl's $24.99 (on sale from $45)
American Eagle jeans: Old, from 2011 during ae.com's "All jeans under $30" sale
*American Eagle is currently offering 40% off your purchase and free shipping.*
Black skater dress: UsTrendy (I love this dress because it so versatile and comfortable!)
I styled the sweetheart neckline dress with a belt that came with the dress I wore for my holiday party post, as well as those same black polka dot tights. I added a pair of turquoise studded pumps by Qupid that my sister gave to me back in 2010 to brighten my ensemble up a bit.
Add some big rings, earrings, and a bracelet and you have an outfit fit for any family get together!
I'd also like the wish everyone happy holidays from our family to yours!
(And what better way is there to do that than by sharing a large number of pictures
of my kitten and puppy in their Christmas-y best? ;D)
Luna and Dakota send everyone lots of love, light, and sloppy kisses!
