Hi guys! I am home sick from work today. Sadly, I've officially been hit by the cold that's been flying around. I remember when I was younger a "sick day" meant sleeping for the entire school day, followed by my mom making me soup, and then falling asleep yet again to some Harry Potter. Now? When I'm sick now in my mid- (ahem, almost late) twenties, I attempt to sleep in, as I know sweet, sweet slumber does an ill body well; however, my mind body soul is so used to waking up early for work that I still wake up earlier than I really want. Then, since I feel guilty for not being at work, I feel like I should do something productive at home (rather than just resting like I need to be). Therefore, I am spending today doing all of the things I haven't really wanted to do, yet still need to be done, such as calling customer service about my student loans. [Adult, Party of One? ... Adult, Party of One?] So it's safe to say that being an adult hits you like a ton of bricks... I mean, who am I?! I should just be intermittently Netflix-ing and sleeping my day (and illness) away. Yet here I am, doing neither of those things. But, alas, once I finish these tasks and no longer feel guilty, you had better believe that I am bundling up on the couch, soup in hand, and with Harry Potter on the TV. I'll show you, Adult Life!

The older you get do you also find yourself feeling the need to be responsible all the damn time? I know I should just rest all day, but "adulting" is just creepin' on into my brain! HEEEELP MEEEE!
The adult sixk day/day off, even sometimes vacation is real. .almost immediately something kicks in. Really I loved using the phone IF I WANTED TO and sleeping in meaning really sleeping in..the good part is I haven't been sick in awhile *ahem* and I can be fortunate enough to get the day off and sometimes week off
