Print Shop: Floral Jacket + Tank + Skinny Jeans + Boots

Hey there, hi there! Is it springtime-y where you live yet? We've been having temps all the way up to the 90s already (which was the biggest bummer). Thankfully, though, this week it got a little cooler again - it was even down to the low 70s today! These are the days that remind me to crack the windows and doors open and take in the fresh air as much as possible (despite the guaranteed onset of allergies)... because in a few shorts weeks, we'll sadly be back to 100+ degrees, and our AC will be working overtime. #DesertLife

I feel like most people are either A) spring-obsessed or B) fall-lovers. Which category do you fall more under? For me personally, I lean towards the autumn obsession side of the spectrum; however, that is solely due to the fact that fall in Phoenix means beautiful months of winter weather are on the way, while spring signals oncoming triple-digit-death-level temperatures (AKA summer is near).

Neutral Party: Cargo Jacket + Cropped Top + Skinny Jeans + Sandals

Hello and happy spring, ladies (and the approximately 7 gents who read this -- shout out to you guys, BTW)! Big news, people: I am officially 27 years old. I celebrated birthday #21 (+ 6) this past weekend, and it was so much fun. It included seeing Whitney Cummings perform, a 90s hip hop dance party, and brunch with friends. I couldn't have asked for a better way to ring in my 27th year. (Which, by the way... when did I actually become 27? ...That's only 3 years from 30, in case you aren't good at math.)

If you're 27 or older, I have a question for you: did you honestly wake up feeling more "adult" on the morning of your 27th birthday? Because I am not going to lie to you - I seriously did! Most birthdays you don't really feel any different (except for your 21st birthday, in which you feel nothing because of, well, you know, the massive consumption of alcohol). But 27, man... I just feel so much like a real human adult from that point on. I felt like an internal switch turned on. I mean, I was ready to begin stopping my constant spending of all my money on burritos every day and was so ready freakin' amped to increase the percentage that I contribute to my 401K... Ya know what I mean, fellow 27+ friends? (Totally kidding, of course -- there is no greater way to spend one's money than on burritos. Don't ever let anyone tell you differently.)

Check It: Plaid Shirt + Skinny Jeans + Ankle Boots

Happy weekend! I, for one, am extra grateful for these two days of the week in particular. This week was -- to put it lightly -- a tough one; therefore, I seriously needed these two days to recuperate from such an emotionally-draining week. However, I've been trying to remind myself to enjoy this weekend as best as I can, too... because it's my last week as a 26 year old! This time next week, I will be turning another year older - woo hoo! (Side note: how many times can I say "week" in the same paragraph...?!)

Red Red Wine: Sweater + Skinny Jeans + Boots

Hey there! Did you catch last week's post? If not, Matt and I road tripped up to Sedona. We took the scenic route back down to Phoenix, which meant we got to see SNOW. Actual snow. (Trust me, this is a serious deal for us.) It was already melting at this point, but as soon as we saw it on the mountain we were driving on, Matt, Dakota, Kingsley, and I immediately jumped out of the car and into the piles of snow. It was magnificent... but cold. (And that cold reminded me why I moved away from places that have to deal with winter long ago.)

Be honest: are you guys sick of seeing burgundy knits and these Madewell boots yet? I sure hope not, because they are two of my favorites... Then again, in just a few weeks, you won't be seeing any boots or sweaters at all on LunaVida, because it'll be 100 degrees here in Phoenix before I know it... [Sad face]
