Plaid, a Pop of Color... and a Puppy!

Hi!  I am so sorry I have been M.I.A. these past few days.  I was on the east coast of Florida this weekend, and I didn't get a chance to blog.  I did, however, get to plan a trip to NYC to visit my best friend, Chelsea, at the end of next month- YAY :D  I have never been to New York before either (Crazy, right?), so I am extra excited!!!

But today I am back in blogging action!  I thought I would start the week off with a simple outfit that is perfect for any occasion that calls for rest and relaxation.

(I apologize for the way I look here, but Dakota looked so stinkin' cute I had to include it.)

Mossimo black and white oversized plaid shirt: Old from Target in 2011 for about $15
-Similar styles: Old Navy $12.97-$24, Target $13.98 (on sale from $19.99), Kohl's $16.20 (on sale from $36) or Dancewear Solutions $21.95 (on sale from $29.95)
I bought this shirt a few sizes too big so it'd be slouchy when I added a belt (like this skinny black one that came with this dress).
-Similar styles (both from Forever 21): $3.80 or $4.80
Gap dark wash skinny jeans, as seen hereOld from 2011 for about $15 (I used a Groupon and they were 40% off.)
-Similar styles: Old Navy $15 (on sale from $19.50) or Gap $34.99 (This pair is almost a direct match and are on sale from $69.95.)
*30% off your purchase at Gap.com with promo code GAP30 for a limited time.*
Charming Charlie red lace flats: From early 2012 for about $15
-[Very] similar style: Cotton On $12.50 (on sale from $14.95)
Forever 21 chunky silver earrings: From 2011 for about $4
-Similar styles (both from Forever 21): $2.80 or $3.80

Is it currently freezing where you are?  Doesn't this kind of outfit make you feel warm and cozy??  I particularly like it myself because it is 79 degrees right now where I live (I know, I know- I shouldn't complain about that) and sometimes a gal just needs to get all comfy in an oversized flannel and relax by a fire, ya know?!  Alas, Florida doesn't allow many of those types of days.  But we always want what we can't have, right?  ;)

Stay warm!

Xoxo,
-Allie

  2. Great read thanks for sharing! Dressing for fashion and dancing are somewhat similar, you need to find an outfit that compliments your figure and at the same time comfortable to wear. If you're looking for the best dance wear for your performance checkout online dance wear stores like https://www.justforkix.com/ to get the best in the latest dancing apparel and costumes.
